Are there any fitness/workout video games for these systems?

Hi are there any fitness/workout video games for the Original Xbox or Ps2(playstation2)
OK I cannot afford a Wii so please stop saying Wii

There aren’t any specific “fitness games” for those systems, that I know of. At least not in the same vein as those you see for the Wii.

However, there are a lot of Dance Dance Revolution games out there for both systems. The DDR games use a dance mat, and believe it or not, they are great for a workout. You can really break a sweat and have a lot of fun in the process.

Used copies of these games are really easy to find and there are still “universal” dance mats being produced. You can pick up a dance mat for around $20 and the games themselves will probably run you $10-$20 used.

Edit: It looks like there’s a new DDR coming out for PS2 on 10/27/09.
