How Can I get a Therapy dog Vest?
I like to train my puppy to become a therapy dog. (Take him to a children/Adult care home once or twice a week, But I am not willing to give him away)
I like to take him everyplace I go to expose him to everything, but some places are not dog friendly, so I need a one of those Therapy dog Vests. How Can I get a Therapy dog Vest ?
PS: I know some internet sites sell those vests, but I like to get a one legally

Therapy dogs and service dogs are two entirely different things. Therapy dogs are permitted only where they are invited. So you have no legal right to take him “every place” to expose him to anything. A vest does not give you access to do this. Being a qualified service dog trainer, training a service dog to be placed with a disabled handler, may give you this right but only in some states.
There’s no point really in getting a therapy dog vest. It just confuses people and causes trouble for service dog owners. Why? Because people are encouraged to pet therapy dogs and to not pet service dogs. When therapy dogs are made to look like service dogs they teach the public to interfere with a dog whose concentration may mean the difference between life and death for his owner.
If you want to be legal and legit, take a therapy dog class, take the test, and get him registered and insured with a reputable agency. Then ask permission of any facility you wish to visit before visiting.
