how do i work my back muscles with a total gym machine?
i race motorcycles and i want my back muscles to be more fit. i have a total gym but i really don’t know which exercises work my back muscles. i need a stronger lower back and upper back.
pull ups are the ultimate upper back exercise, so any exercise that involves the same motion as that (such as a cable pull down) will hit the upper back.
the ultimate lower back exercise is the deadlift but CAREFUL!!!! IF YOU ARE DUMB LIKE ME YOU’LL INJURE YOUR BACK LIKE ME AND HAVE TO DEAL WITH BACK PAIN FOR MONTHS!!!! BE SURE YOU’RE NOT USING TOO MUCH WEIGHT AND ARE USING PROPER FORM
