Manual treadmill, I can lose weight using this?

I can not buy an engine, and I can not jog or walk outside the gym (for job and the university .. and after returning home, tired as hell). I amount lost much weight before, using manual tape, food, sit-ups, jumping rope, push upward, lifting weights. but now I say Google and manual tape is not as good? WTH? Input please, thanks.
