taking a greyhound bus for the first time?
im going from kalamazoo michigan to milwaukee
and i have a layover in chicago..
i only have one bag, and i wanna take it on the bus with me
its a normal sized duffle bag, like that people who play sports use
im really scared haha, will i be able to take it on the bus with me?
im getting there like an hour before it departs
will i be able to get on the bus right away?
what do i do when i get to the bus station? do i need to check in?

There is usually room on the bus for the bag. It will go in the over head bin. This is open, not like a plane. You will not be able to board early. Everyone boards at the same time. There are no assigned seats. YOu are better off getting in line early. Most people put their bags in line then wander off. Yes check in and get your boarding tickets. There will be several tickets, one for each leg.
Bus travel takes a little while to get used to, but it isn’t hard. Just do not miss your bus at any stop!! There will be several interim stops so people can buy food, and have cigs etc. Stay close to the bus so you won’t get left behind, if you do you have a problem!! (It happened to me once)
