Heart rate up=more calories burned per day?
So even if i can get my heartbeat up without doing any cardio will i still burn more calories?
Like holding my breath or something?
Im not lazy its just I have to go to school still haha.

The body’s rate of calorie consumption can depend on several factors.
1. Activity Level
-If your occupation or lifestyle involves a generous amount of strenuous activity, your body will have to naturally consume more energy to replenish itself.
2. Metabolism
-This depends on your overall body structure, which is unique. If you have a fast metabolism, your body’s processes will generally work at a faster pace. (I’m sure you have heard that people with faster metabolisms don’t live very long. This is somewhat true, but the age you live up to can depend on multiple factors.)
3. Muscle mass
-The more massive your muscle cells are, the more energy they need to sustain themselves. That’s why rather muscular people (such as Jay Cutler, Ronnie Coleman, Victor Martinez, etc.) have to consume large amounts of food to provide the food energy that their bodies need.
Heart rate and body temperature can change the rate at which your body burns calories, but holding your breath is not a good way to burn more calories. Your body still needs oxygen to carry out its basic functions (such as respiration) so if anything, your body might burn less calories.
