Pull Down
What will happen if you constantly pull down your lower eye lids to remove things that get in your eye?
Many times I get things in my eyes (eye lashes, dust particles) and I pull down my lower eye lids to remove what is in my eye. I was wondering if pulling down the lower eye lids as often as I do can cause “crows feet” around the eyes or can cause vision problems later on.
Nothing should happen if you do it safely and cautiously. Just try not to scratch or damage your eye as it will feel much more worse than whatever is irritating in your eye. If you have long nails I would recommend you not do this, instead rinse your eye with warm/cold water to get whatever is irritating your eye out. You can also spread germs into your eye that can cause pink eye, or other bacterial diseases so make sure your hands are clean.
