first you need to find the index of refraction of the plastic, you can do this by using the equation c0/n = c1, where c0 is the speed of light in a vacuum and c1 is the speed of light in plastic, and n is the index of refraction of plastic. If I remember correctly, you should get around 1.33 for n.
then use snell’s law, you are going from air(n = 1) to plastic(n = 1.33), therefore
n(air)sin(22) = n(glass)sin(theta)
sin22/n(glass) = sin(theta)
theta = sin^-1(sin22/n(glass))
because the angle that the light in refracted is the same as the transmission angle(theta) from the above equation
