How can I help stop horrible pain from my period?
When I have my period, I get horrible, and I mean -horrible- cramps in my back. I end up taking about 6 midol, 3 advil, and half a hydrocodone to even get it to a manageable level. If I have the ability, when I get my period, I do take a long bath and I keep heat pads (one on my back, one over my ovaries) on, but what else can I do to stop the pain without coming close to overdosing on pain pills?
