How do I shrink a 100% cotton sweater down one size without it getting too small?
I was in the mall today shopping, and I saw a sweater I REALLY wanted. The only problem is, they didn’t have one in my size. So I bought one that was 1 size too big, hoping that I’ll be able to shrink it somehow.
How can I shrink it in the washer and/or the dryer down one size? Will it get too small? Will the shrink be permanet? Thanks! 
Just wash in hot water and hot dry this will shrink it a size and no this can only be reversible if you use white vinegar and stretch it out by hand other than that it won’t shrink again unless you want it to but only by washing it in hot water, when you wash it again when it is at your desired size you then wash it with cool or warm water and delicate or warm dry. Make sure that this sweater is what you say it is and that it is not already preshrunk. Thats it. Good Luck !
