Face Lift exercises: Why they are still not considered Solutions
Are you already one of the enlightened ones who know that expensive operations and surgeries are not the prerequisites of looking young again? If the answer is still no, then it’s time to wake up to the reality that nowadays, face surgeries involving bloody operations and heaps of bucks are no longer the only options in the list of those who want to regain their younger-looking years. A face lift exercise is a routine that involves controlled movements of the facial muscles with the help of the fingers to improve the skin’s lost elasticity. It is said to decrease the appearance of those age lines and also help in strengthening the facial muscles beneath the skin so that they can support the epidermis thoroughly and keep it smooth and younger looking. This is not the end of that enlightening, however, because at the end of that bright tunnel of hope is the black hole of all the risks and uncertainty of the effectiveness of these exercises.
Though there is no debate over the fact that surgeries can give faster results compared to a face lift exercise, it is believed that there are more advantages on the latter option because it is chemical free and it also has some additional positive results like bringing back the lost softness and suppleness of the skin because of continuous facial massages. Just like any other exercise programs, the results of these exercises cannot be noticed overnight. A minimum of five to ten minutes every day needs to be seriously dedicated by the person to finally have that youthful glow again. It is important to take note that if you are not sure you’ll be able to continuously commit yourself in this process, then it’ll be better to just start saving on the bucks for a surgery. Also, like what is already mentioned, these exercises are aimed to bring back the softness of the skin. However, if done excessively this practice can make the facial muscles soggy leading to sagging. This is the reason why exercises like these are still not recommended because of their lack of scientific support and the other appearance problems they can further cause.
On the other hand, there are different sets of exercises that a person can choose from. One example of a face lift exercise for the lips and cheeks is to first sit in a position that you are comfortable in and closing your mouth with teeth clenched together. Afterwards, while still keeping the lips closed, try to smile as wide as you can and hold it for five seconds. For the next step, change your lip position into a pouting motion and stretch it forward again as much as possible. After five seconds, relax facial muscles in the mouth part and suck in your cheeks, putting it over the top part of the teeth. Simply repeat the exercise ten times. Face creams and home made face masks can also be an option for those who don’t have the proper patience for regular exercising. But just like the exercise routines, they also have their share of negative effects because they can also cause rashes and irritations for people who have sensitive skin. Soreness, itching, and swelling are just some of the symptoms.
