Have you ever signed up for the Salvation Army online kettle?

I have been thinking about this, but I wasn’t sure how safe it was. I don’t mind donating to the in person kettles (it’s rather nice to see the bell-ringers, even if they are harder to find… 
)
Has anyone had any experience doing this? Thoughts?
No , but I have heard it’s pretty safe
If you can’t trust the Salvation Army who can you trust
They do so much good work for the less forunate all year round but especially at christmas
