Incline Decline
incline or decline close grip bench press?
its time to change up my workout a bit, however i like to keep my main exercises and just alter them a bit. my main exercise for triceps is the close grip bench press. is there a difference from a regular close grip bench press to a incline or decline bench press?
my tri workout goes:
close grip bench press – heavy
skull crusher – heavy
toning band kickback – light for toning
im changing the latter 2, but i wanna keep the close grip since it lets me go heavy and its great for working punch muscles (i do strength training for martial arts)
If you’re trying to focus on your tri’s then flat close grip bench is going to be much better than incline or decline.
Why don’t you do some skull crushers with the ez bar? Those work amazing.
Or trying doing dips (don’t lean forward, stay upright).
