Hand Weights

What are some excersises that uses hand weights thatll help me to tone up?

I want to tone up my whole body. Let me know the excersise and how much the weight should weigh. Im thinking about joining a gym tommorrow( i used to go but lost motovation) i just want to tone up and lose weight. Its just so hard to get motovated!

What you may want to do is get some bungee or elastic bands to work out with. They sell them at sears and wal-mart. They are great for a quick workout while you watch tv. I also use dumbbells to supplement my workout regime. Do shoulder pulls to tone up your back and shoulder blade area, use a weight that is comfortable for you. Lunges and squats will tone your legs and butt. Bench press tones the shoulders and pecs, while bicep curls tone, guess what, you got it the biceps. Good luck
