walking 10 000 steps for fitness?
so, you’re supposed to walk about 10 000 steps in a day, and my mom wears one of those step counter things.
Her doctor told her it was either walk 10 000 steps a day, or join a gym, and she chose the steps.
The think is, though, that she walks around the house (inside) all day. she NEVER ever goes outside (she has a fear of getting skin cancer). When ever she goes for a walk outside, she has to anounce it to EVERYONE, like its somthing totally not normal for anyone. how can i convince her to walk outsidee??

10,000 steps in between 4-5 miles depending on your step. thats a lot of walking. if she is walking that everyday, inside or out, encourage her, dont argue.
