Extreme X2 Irons…Are they any good?
I found a deal on a full set of Extreme X2 Irons (3-S). From my understanding they’re an off brand of a set of Callaway Irons. I was wondering if anyone has tried these and how they like them, or at least nows of anyone who has used them. I’ve read a few reviews on them but I have a hard time trusting those because the company that is trying to sell them could just be disguising themselves as a “satisfied customer.” I’ve got an old set of Irons that I’d like up update but I am also a college student and don’t have the money to drop 400+ dollars on a big name set of irons. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
I have been building clubs for 12 years. Someone who knows what they are doing can build you just as good of a set or better that you can play better than ‘the big name brands’.
Custom clubs are built to suit your body size and your swing. I am loooking at these heads myself for my own new set of irons. The most important part of the club is the shaft. Some people like a big name on their clubs. So what? Buy a big name bag and big name headcovers. I prefer birdies to status image. And when people ask about your clubs, refer them to your builder and tell them to mention you. You’ll get a hookup next tme you want a club built.
