Cycling workout at small weight?
If you know what is Less Mills’ RPM exercise… Is it good or not to go to RPM only for training endurance? I dont want to lose weight! The same time I visit an exercise room with the purpose to gain muscular weight. My weigh is 61 kg, growth is 180 cm. I am 28, male!
The key to endurance training is to start your training riding for the amount of time it will take to complete the course you want to do, with very little resistance. Over time, keep the daily training duration constant while gradually increasing the resistance.
On this program you do not need to ride the course every day (a few times a week is sufficient), but you must complete the course every time, regardless of how much it hurts (unless you think your going to tear a muscle, then stop, elevate, cool and rest overnight).
The reaching of your goal will depend on the kind of terrain the actual course is like, and what equipment you’ll be using. Don’t use a BMX to do the Tour de France, or a racer to go offroad, and if the gradient of incline is alpine you will need a lot more time to train than on a flat, level, sealed surface.
If you are training for professional competition then you need to compare your fitness with the training regime other competitors are subjected to, in addition to the above. Also you can compare to how competitors handled the course in previous events, by watching archived video recordings.
