Counter Walking
Would u tip at a restaurant where u walk up to the counter to order and pay but they bring the food?
Most of the time I’ll leave a buck and it doesn’t bother me, I’d just like to hear what you think. This question came to my mind when I found this little casual Japanese/sushi place where you walk up to the counter to order and pay right away, then go to the self serve tea, soup, and silverware area. They bring the food to you and clear your table afterwards.
I would tip. They’re giving some form of service. If it’s only a dollar or two, what does it hurt? If you go there often, they get to know you and give you better service. It has ALWAYS worked out for me but I also love to eat:)
