Do houses built on concrete pads (“patio homes”) cause problems relating to back and knees?
concrete pad homes: anyone have any health issues relating to back and knees from living on the harder surface (compared to conventional wood framed floor)?
It’s NOT a silly question, but it is true that the construction is not so much the issue.
It’s how long you stand barefoot or just thin socks on a hard surface, or if you’re dancing on it…
Wear good shoes, or carpet with good padding, and you’re OK…
Normal home activity should not be a hazard. Have a nice rubber rug where you stand at the sink, and while ironing, etc.
