Adjustable Ankle
How can I get sore ankle relief?
I twisted my ankle over a year ago while walking on uneven pavement, went home and rested it and recently started a job where I am on my feet for 8 hours a day and it’s really starting to give me grief.
I’ve purchased a stretchy wrap-type device that helps it a bit, but it often slips off of my heel (which is how it’s anchored) and when I get home and take it off, my ankle doesn’t feel -that- much better.
What can I do?

Take an anti-inflammatory like Advil or Aleve before you go to work. And I’d recommend taking another dose when you get home.
And when you get home make sure you ice it and elevate it. And elevate doesn’t just mean prop it up on the coffee table, it means you must get the ankle above your heart.
Try that for a while, and it should offer some relief. If it doesn’t, I would recommend seeing a doctor to make sure you didn’t do permanent damage to it. Because after a year it should be healed.
